Stories, Sites and Sounds: Chineke! Juniors on Google Arts & Culture
The Chineke! Juniors have been working on something rather wonderful with English Heritage's national youth engagement project Shout Out Loud.
Three unique performances were filmed at Kenwood House in Hampstead Heath for the series Stories, Sites and Sounds on the Google Arts & Culture platform.
Inspired by the lives of ethnically diverse historical figures, these three pieces - Life of the Munshi, Dido Belle: A Musical Voyage and In Memory of Sarah Forbes Bonetta - were created by the Chineke! Juniors through weeks of online collaboration sessions, culminating in extraordinarily inventive and dynamic compositions. Visit the link below to view the story of how the project came together!
Many congratulations to Kitan, Danya, Nayan, Jamaal, Mejedi, Charles, Vanessa, Nia-May, Adrian,Toril, Amalia and Imaan for your brilliant work!
