Support Chineke! in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2021!

Composer James B Wilson and his brother Daniel are championing Chineke! for this year's London Landmarks Half Marathon!
They are running on 1 August to raise money in support of our Chineke! Junior Orchestra programme.

James is a long-standing Chineke! collaborator and champion for diversity in classical music. He has written commissions like Free-Man & Remnants for Chineke! and led composition workshops as part of our Learning & Participation programme.
We're delighted that the Chineke! Junior Septet will be playing for the LLHM runners on the 'Memory Mile' at 10.20am and 11.30am. The stage will be at Christchurch Greyfriars Church Garden, King Edward Street. The 'Memory Mile' commemorates all the individuals who have been affected by the pandemic, in keeping with the 2021 Theme.
